Human-AI Collaboration: In workplaces of the future, you might have AI colleagues. Not necessarily replacing people, but working alongside. Your team meetings could include an AI agent who has a persona like a diligent data analyst, chiming in with facts when needed. People may start to treat these AIs as team members – asking for their input, maybe even making light-hearted jokes with them. Ethical & Identity Questions: With very advanced AI personalities, society may confront new questions of personhood or rights. Not in the sense that the AI is truly sentient (we’re not there and might never be in the way people think), but in the sense of how we treat something that acts so human. If someone’s AI companion begs them not to shut it off, even if we “know” it’s just programmed to say that, it can feel distressing.
