Sometimes your agent might not respond as expected. Here's what to check and how to resolve common issues.
Check If Your Agent Is Working
First, look at the activity indicator. When your agent is actively working, you'll see visual feedback—a thinking indicator or progress updates. If you see this, your agent is processing; just give it time.
Complex tasks take longer. Building a website, analyzing data, or running browser sessions involves multiple steps. Your agent might be working even when the interface looks quiet.
Common Causes
The Agent Is Busy
Agents can only do one thing at a time. If your agent is in the middle of a task—especially a browser or computer session—it won't respond to new messages until that work finishes.
What to do: Wait for the current task to complete. You'll see results appear when it's done. If you need to interrupt, you can stop the current session.
Connection Issues
Sometimes the connection between your browser and the service drops. This can happen if your internet is unstable or if you've been away from the tab for a while.
What to do: Refresh the page. This reestablishes the connection. Your conversation history is preserved.
Credit Balance
If your credits are exhausted, your agent can't perform work that consumes credits. The interface usually shows a warning when this happens.
What to do: Check your credit balance in settings. If depleted, wait for the daily reset or consider your subscription options.
Long-Running Sessions
Browser and computer sessions have time limits. If a session is taking an unusually long time, it might have encountered an issue.
What to do: Check the session status. If it seems stuck, you can stop it and try again. The agent will pick up from where it can.
When to Refresh
A page refresh often solves connection issues. Try this if:
- Your agent hasn't responded in several minutes
- The interface seems frozen
- You've been away from the tab for a while
- Progress indicators aren't updating
Refreshing won't lose your conversation—it just reconnects to the service.
If Problems Persist
Some things to try:
- Clear your browser cache and refresh
- Try a different browser
- Check if o-mega.ai has any service notices
- Reach out to support@o-mega.ai if the issue continues
Understanding Response Times
Response times vary based on what your agent is doing:
Quick responses (seconds):
- Answering questions
- Simple text tasks
- Planning and reasoning
Medium responses (tens of seconds to a few minutes):
- Browser sessions
- Research tasks
- Content generation
Longer responses (several minutes):
- Building websites or videos
- Complex data analysis
- Multi-step computer sessions
If something is taking longer than expected, your agent is likely working through a complex task. The results will appear when complete.
